I recently had a phone call from a life insurance sales rep, who dutifully tried to persuade me into buying his company’s policy program.
Instead of the usual response of politely saying no and putting the phone down, I thought to myself, why not see if I can turn this rather mundane conversation in a lively spiritual one!

Sanjib – I don’t need it, I’m a yogi warrior… don’t believe in death..
Life Insurance Telephone Sales Person – what do you mean?… how can you not believe in death?
Sanjib – depends how you define death, yes the body will come and go, but my spirit will live forever… doesn’t need any insurance!:)
Life Insurance Telephone Sales Person – Wait let me check to see if we have any policies which will suit you…
Sanjib – yeh sure!
Life Insurance Telephone Sales Person – ahhh no we don’t have anything, but you know I am loving talking with you… how can I feel the same way you do?
